SHARP launches first e-store in Singapore

Many of us are probably well acquainted with SHARP Singapore, which was established in 1986. Well known for providing a wide range of home and lifestyle tech gadgets, SHARP has launched its first e-store to cater to a new generation of shoppers.

SHARP’s first B2C experience in Singapore

The e-store serves to enhance the overall customer experience by complementing SHARP’s existing brick and mortar stores. It also allows SHARP to directly engage its shoppers and gain insight into their purchasing habits and preferences.

Online shoppers will be able to leave product reviews and feedback. This allows other shoppers to make informed purchasing decisions and provides SHARP with valuable customer feedback.

Access to online exclusives and pre-orders

The e-store carries a range of products that will only be available online. This includes:

  • SHARP Face Mask (available only in Taiwan)
  • SHARP 8-Speed Foldable Bicycle
  • [new-in-market] SHARP Audio products not found in stores
  • SHARP Dynabook Laptop

A series of their bestsellers are also available for pre-order ahead of their availability in Singapore, so interested customers will be able to purchase them in advance. For instance, the SHARP Plasmacluster™ Humidifier from Japan, the SHARP Sound Partner, and SHARP TWS Earbuds with anti-noise cancellation features for crystal clear sound.

To make the site a one-stop place for its home and lifestyle offerings, SHARP has also planned to launch crowd favourites like Wireless Bluetooth Speakers and Food Blenders.

SHARP has come a long way from its humble roots as a small metal company in Tokyo. With competitors such as Samsung Electronics also making their foray into e-commerce, it is a timely and wise decision for SHARP to capture the hearts of a new generation of online shoppers by building an e-store.
