Apart from the standard vacuuming and sometimes mopping, the Deebot T9 comes with many first-time innovations such as doubling up as an air freshener, making it a breeze (pun intended) to keep your home clean.
Consistent performance on any surface
With an increased 3000 Pa of suction power, the Deebot T9 already raises the bar for robotic vacuums. Taking it even further, the motor is built on a fibreglass structure to keep suction power consistent, whether on hard floors or carpets.
To make your floors look and smell pristine after every vacuum, the Deebot T9 comes with a powerful mop to remove the grime off the floor. The mop attachment comes in the form of disposable pads with specially designed microfibers to reduce water stains, which is powered by the OZMO™ Pro 2.0 Electric Oscillating Mopping System.
The new mopping system comes with a newly designed motor and movement structure which not only reduces noise but also produces vibrations of up to 480 times per minute. The vibrations increase friction between the mopping pad and the floor which effectively removes stains on the floor, leaving the floor spotless.
Rather than normal air freshener canisters which diffuse fragrances in the air, the Deebot T9 is the first device to freshen up the floors, a common breeding ground for musty and pet odour, while cleaning. The fresheners come in the form of capsules in different scents that are diffused onto the floor through a fan, which can be toggled on and off in the app, lasting a total of up to 60 days.
No more hit-or-miss situations
The Deebot T9 is the first robotic vacuum to come with an intelligent 9-in-1 obstacle avoidance system, including features such as TrueDetect 3D 2.0 for avoiding obstacles strategically, and TrueMapping 2.0 for precise navigation.
The new TrueDetect 3D 2.0 improves detection speeds and accuracy up to ten times that of traditional infra-red technology. This allows the Deebot T9 to detect object sizes right down to mere millimetres, even in pitch darkness. It is able to avoid collisions and the entanglement of wires with the help of improved algorithms to detect them quickly.
Thanks to TrueMapping 2.0, 2D and 3D maps can be generated to determine the exact location of the vacuum cleaner without searching high and low. Combining both TrueMapping 2.0 and TrueDetect 3D 2.0, users can now control their entire cleaning roster while in the midst of their hustles.
Low maintenance in your control
The Deebot T9 can be connected to your mobile device via the Ecovacs Home app, which now works with TrueMapping 2.0 3D to hunt down your missing vacuum. With an intuitive interface, users can control the optimal cleaning route, while making other fine-tuning adjustments such as the amount of water used for mopping, suction power for your ultra furry carpets, cleaning times and routes for each room.
Emptying the robot’s dustbin after every use can be a chore (albeit the petite of it), which can be resolved when bundled with the supported Ecovac Auto-Empty Station (sold separately) for the true hands-free experience. The disposable dust bag located in the bin holds up to 4 weeks of dust and debris, limiting human intervention with the robot drastically.
