Raymond QuekDreamcore has just released the Dreambook Touch 15, the company’s first laptop after being centred around desktops since its brand launch in 2016. The Singapore-based company aims to carry its core belief (pun intended) of being centred on value, quality and service, by creating a powerhouse targeted for productivity users on the go.
Light but filled with might
Within the 1.68kg body, the Dreambook Touch 15 packs a high-capacity 73Wh battery to power the Intel 11th Gen “Tiger Lake” Core i7-1165G7 found in the device. This delivers up to 18 hours of battery life, with 16GB LPDDR4X memory as standard. Using the included 65W USB-C fast charger will take the battery life from 20% to 90% in only 1.5 hours.
Users with high storage demands can choose up to 2TB of speedy PCIe 4.0 SSD storage from the store or customise it with their specified component. Whether using it at home or on-the-go, the abundance of ports such as a full-sized HDMI port and two USB Type-A ports enables you to connect your favourite peripherals without using dongles.
Seeing eye to eye with its display and camera
As we now rely heavily on remote communication, the built-in HD webcam and 4x microphone array with noise cancellation and stereo speakers are superb for crisp video calls. The included 15.6” touch display with 100% sRGB colour gamut and >450 nits brightness does its best to recreate real-life interactions.
Alongside the HD webcam, IR face recognition with presence detection supports Windows Hello. When in use, users can log in to their devices instantly, without keying in the password or even pressing the power button.
Availability and Pricing
The Dreamcore Touch 15 starts from S$1,895 for an included 512GB Samsung SSD 980 and goes up to S$2,795 for an included 2TB Dreamcore Hyperion Pro PCIe 4.0 SSD.
From now till 19 July 2021, customers can receive Early Bird Gift Bundles, which varies on the configuration chosen. The chart below shows the Gift bundle eligible for the respective purchases.
