Get up to $57 with Google Pay’s new game as Singapore turns 57

As Singapore commemorate its 57th National Day, Google Pay has introduced a new game to rekindle the common joy of collecting rewards. Tapping on the concept of Huat Pals (during every Lunar New Year), the new seasonal mini-game titled Lion City Cake carries cashback rewards of up to S$57 – together with special merchant vouchers.

Spice up your mornings with a quiz which grants you an additional voucher every day – with at least three out of five questions answered correctly.

From today till 14 August 2022, the said game will show up on the Google Pay homepage. Upon completing tasks – which include sending $10 to a friend on the platform or making a $3 transaction over PayNow/FavePay, users will be given a chance to decorate each layer of the cake to resemble various landmarks across the island.

Completion of the tasks yields a cashback voucher amounting from $1.57 to $57. Every transaction also presents a chance of winning special vouchers from major partners such as Deliveroo, Klook or Lazada along with home-grown brands such as Fairprice, Ryde and Irvin’s.
