As Huawei continues to enhance its Smart Office Experience, the company has recently released 3 new devices locally – MateBook 14, MateBook E and MatePad. The company strives to integrate seamless connectivity and cross-device collaboration among its devices.
Huawei’s Super Device system offers cross-device connectivity and collaboration for its users. Through this system, users can drag icons from other Huawei devices onto their PC – acting as a central control hub to share resources.
MateBook 14
An all-purpose laptop at 1.49kg, the MateBook 14 contains a 14-inch 2K FullView Display, the new 11th Gen Intel Core processor and 16GB RAM. With its 56Wh battery on full charge, the notebook supports up to 10 hours of local 1080p video playback.
Utilising a unique 3:2 aspect ratio, the laptop shows more content during everyday tasks such as reading articles, web browsing and coding. The 4.9mm thin bezel reduces visual obstruction and brings the screen-to-body ratio to 90 percent.
MateBook E
At just 709g and at 7.99mm thin, the MateBook E is Huawei’s first 2-in-1 laptop and tablet hybrid for working between locations. It comes with a detachable 12.6-inch display that pairs with the HUAWEI Smart Magnetic Keyboard or the HUAWEI M-Pencil (2nd generation) for a more tactile note-taking experience.
The display is a OLED Real Colour FullView Display with pro-grade colour efficiency and a peak brightness of 600 nits to counter bright sunlights. Hardware-level low blue light technology and TÜV Rheinland Full-Care Eye Care 2.0 certification fosters a comfortable viewing experience for its users.
MatePad
Featuring a highly portable 10.4-inch 2K FullView screen, the MatePad stays lit for up to 12 hours with continuous local 1080p HD video playback – thanks to the 7,250 mAh battery. A full charge only takes 2.5 hours with the 22.5W Huawei SuperCharge, which lasts for 28 days on standby.
With support for the Huawei M-Pencil (2nd Generation), this tablet is a portential candidate for note taking apps in areas of work and education. Apps such as notability and WPS Office taps on the device’s ability to be a productivity device.
