The Huawei MateBook D14 strives to deliver optimal user experience to its young consumers

As youths continue to dominate the computer market, the Huawei MateBook D14 the company’s approach for its younger consumers. Housed in an aesthetic exterior, the device contains modern features such as a Fingerprint Fingerprint Power Button, Dual Antenna Wi-Fi 6, long-lasting battery life and fast charging for smartphones.

In its core, these MateBook come with the latest 11th Generation Intel Core i5-processor and are equipped with the new Intel Iris Xe Graphics which allows the notebook to handle a wide variety of complex image processing tasks and multi-tasking with ease.

With a weight of just 1.38kg and measuring 15.9mm at its thickest point, the laptop is designed to be portable without hugely compromising its performance. Its 14-inch display has also been TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light emission, allowing for better eye protection and comfort during prolonged use.

Effectively handling heavy workloads

Despite having the latest 11th Generation Intel Core i5 quad-core processor alongside a maximum of 16GB memory and high-speed PCIe SSDs, the laptop stays cool with the latest version of the HUAWEI Shark Fin Fan – said to optimise airflow.

Two inbuilt power profiles gives users the choice of Performance or power-efficient usage scenarios. Partnered with a 56Wh battery, users can come to expect all-day battery life with aid from the software aspect.

Super Device for cross-device collaboration

As a company’s initiative for seamless collaboration between devices, users can simultaneously display content on multiple devices to optimise productivity or transfer files between devices. The interface is now simplified into a dragging motion from the device towards the PC icon, encouraging frequent use of this feature.

If the inbuilt 14-inch FHD screen is insufficient for you, your Huawei tablets can be used as a drawing pad or a portable secondary display. The Huawei MateView monitor from last year will also have the option of wireless video signals on top of the conventional wire connection.

The Huawei HUAWEI MateBook D 14 is currently available at all Huawei Authorised Stores and selected consumer electronic stores, as well as Huawei’s official online stores in Lazada and Shopee. The price starts at S$1,198 for the following configuration
