The Samsung Galaxy Fold is coming to Singapore and it’s going for S$3,088

Samsung announced today that the Galaxy Fold will be launched and available to consumers in Korea from 6 September, followed by select countries including France, Germany, Singapore, UK, US, and more.

The Galaxy Fold is a completely new category of mobile technology. It is Samsung’s attempt at creating a hybrid device between a smartphone and a tablet. By featuring a flexible display, users are able to fold the Galaxy Fold into half to achieve a footprint of a smartphone. When a larger display is desired, users can simply flip open the phone to uncover the full 7.3″ QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED Display.

Availability and Pricing

The Samsung Galaxy Fold will be available in Singapore at a retail price of S$3,088 in two variants – Cosmos Black and Space Silver.

Cosmos Black: From 18 September 2019
Space Silver: From 21 September 2019

Interested buyers can look to purchase the Galaxy Fold at selected local telecommunication operators (M1, Singtel and StarHub) and Samsung Experience Store at VivoCity.
