Nikon Z6III – mid-range class, high performance specifications

Harnessing signature features of the Z9 and Z8, the Nikon Z6III prides itself on igniting creativity of content creators and enthusiasts – reinforced by high performance and exceptional specs in the full-frame, mid-range class.

Incorporating the latest, advanced technologies

Equipped with the world’s first partially-stacked CMOS sensor enabling 3.5x faster readouts than the Z6II, the camera is to produce Pre-Release Capture at up to 120 fps in DX format. Additionally, the camera also provides an additional option of shooting at 60 fps in FX format with 24MP.

Utilising the EXPEED 7 high-speed image-processing engine, the Z6III excels in low light scenes – up to ISO 64000 for photos and ISO 51200 for video. Complimentary to that, the said device achieves one of the highest in-camera Vibration Reduction (VR) in the Nikon Z series cameras – with an 8.0-stop.

Resistant to drastic weather conditions

For winter photographers, the inclusion of Sereebo® P series carbon fibre, magnesium alloy, and effective sealing enables footage capture at temperatures reaching -10 degrees Celsius.

On the other extreme of the spectrum, the improvement in heat dissipation structure and power efficiency enables recording for up to 125 minutes in 4K UHD/60p (8-bit) format – with the option to shoot videos in 12-bit ProRes RAW HQ and N-RAW formats, spanning up to 6K.

Enhancing final results through software

A feature within NX Studio (Nikon’s image browsing, processing, and editing software), the Flexible Colour Picture Control feature enables users greater expression freedom through the support of Colour Blender and Colour Grading features. Now having focus point VR to reduce blurring in focused areas, users can enlarge and trim around the photo subject with less concerns of loss in details.

Once exported to the Z6III, these configured setting bundles can be applied at any time while shooting and reflected on the live display for real-time result preview.

For seamless photo editing on other devicves, Nikon Imaging Cloud is tightly integrated with the Z6III which automatically transfers footage (through Wi-Fi) onto any pre-configured third-party cloud storage services.
