The new Huawei MatePad is now available for purchase in Singapore

Coming in a flexible tablet form factor, the Huawei MatePad aims to be the tablet made for entertainment and productivity. It achieves it by providing an immersive viewing experience backed up by speedy processors.

Holistically immersive experience

With a 2K 10.4-inch LCD display surrounded by narrow bezels, the Huawei MatePad spots a screen-to-body ratio of 84 percent. Apart from offering a pixel density of 225ppi, the display supports 100 percent of sRGD colour gamut to produce stunning colour accuracy.

Supporting the impressive screen is Huawei’s proprietary ClariVu Display Enhancement Technology, which is designed to boost the image and video quality by using algorithms to enhance detail and contrast in real-time.

To complete the package, the powerful Harman Kardon quad-speaker sound system optimised for multi-channel sound output, along with the new Huawei Histen 6.1 for 3D spatial sound and boosted bass.

Blazing fast performance and connectivity

Catching up on the trend of WiFi 6, the Huawei MatePad features the newest WiFi standard with a peak download speed of 2400Mbps to facilitate lag-free video streaming and speedy file transfers.

Despite weighing in at just 460g, the tablet features a new 7nm Kirin 820 processor with speeds of up to 2.36GHz and its Mali-G57 GPU and NPU systems for intensive gaming and rich AI experience. Supported with a 7,250 mAh battery and EMUI’s AI power saver, the tablet can stay lit up for up to 12.5 hours without connecting to the charger. It only takes 2.5 hours for a full charge to get it back to life thanks to the supported 10V/2.25A fast charging.

Incredible productivity and entertainment abilities

The Huawei MatePad also comes with Huawei Video with a variety of international drama series, movies and documentaries. You can enjoy your first month free on Huawei Video+ Unlimited Pass (worth S$7.98) while being spared from ads and premium restrictions. You can also find a variety of entertainment and other apps via the Petal Search app.

The EMUI 10.1 system is equipped with better multitasking abilities such as the multi-window feature that allows you to run a background app with three floating windows on screen. Regardless of whether you are caught up with intense work or gaming sessions, you will be able to reply to messages with minimal interruptions.

A synchronised experience with your loved ones

Even while staying apart, the Cross Device Gallery found on Huawei devices allows users to easily search for, browse, view and download media saved on other devices.
