Huawei has just announced that the MateBook 14 AMD edition ultra-portable laptop and MatePad T 10s Android tablet will hit Singapore stores on 16 January 2021, with pre-orders starting from 9 to 15 January 2021.
Huawei MateBook 14
The MateBook 14 is the latest addition to Huawei’s ultra-portable laptop line-up in Singapore. Ensuring powerful performance for work and play, it runs on the AMD Ryzen™ 5 processor and the latest Windows 10 Home.
With its plethora of features, the Huawei MateBook 14 is a powerful user-friendly laptop for everyday use that takes work and play to the next level. It is the first laptop from Huawei running on the new AMD Ryzen™ 5 4000H processor and offers a stable and intelligent experience coupled with a premium hardware finish at an affordable price.
The MateBook 14 features a 14-inch 2K FullView display with thin bezels to achieve 90 percent screen-to-body ratio, for an almost borderless viewing experience. It also holds 3:2 aspect ratio display, superseding its 16:9 counterparts for everyday viewing needs. Upgraded ergonomic features like its comfortable keyboard, recessed camera, and fingerprint power button make using this laptop intuitive and satisfying. Furthermore, the display supports a TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification that effectively filters blue light emissions, for a comfortable viewing experience.
Sporting a 56W battery, the MateBook 14 supports up to 10 hours of continuous local 1080p video playback on a single charge. Additionally, the laptop allows users to switch between its two performance modes – balanced and high-energy, with just one-key to optimise its performance for daily needs.
Huawei MatePad T 10s
Launching alongside the MateBook 14 is the compact and sleek Huawei MatePad T 10s Android tablet. It is an entertainment powerhouse that takes play up a notch.
This 10.1-inch tablet has an 80 percent screen-body ratio and a 16:10 aspect ratio, letting users delve easily into its vivid cinematic display.
Huawei has also collaborated with leading speaker brand Harmon-Kardon to let this tablet deliver authentic sound through 1620 high amplitude speakers, to deliver the ultimate audio experience.
Weighing only 450g with a thickness of 7.85mm, the MatePad T 10s is incredibly portable and gives maximum entertainment anywhere, even on-the-go.
It also comes with the in-built Kids Corner, with controls for parents to maximise their kids’ learning and playtime, while still taking care of them through its six-layer eye protection. Its exterior is finished with a stylish sandblasted matte cover that serves a smooth hand-feel.
