Samsung launches Galaxy A12, the most affordable and enterprise-ready smartphone in Singapore

Big screen, big battery and impressive cameras at an irresistible price tag

With 2 weeks into 2021, Samsung took the lead in releasing the Galaxy A12. It is one of the most value-for-money and enterprise-ready smartphones in the market, powered by Samsung Knox. Featuring a large 6.5-inch Infinity-V Display and a large 5,000mAh battery coupled with 15W Fast Charging, the Galaxy A12 will be selling at a retail price of S$228. It will be available in two colours: Cosmic Black and Cosmic Blue.

Enterprise Ready with Samsung Knox

With the Galaxy A12, IT teams can be ready to secure, deploy and manage the device for business use, while allowing users to stay productive. Samsung Knox allows corporates to deploy a large number of devices across the organisation right out of the box. With strong ratings by Gartner for mobile device security and platforms between 2016 and 2019, Galaxy A12 and Samsung Knox offer the best in class security, including advanced security and management features to defend against cybersecurity threats.

All-Day Entertainment Hub

With a 6.5 inch Infinity-V screen and a 5,000mAh battery, users get a whole new experience for their multimedia content, especially with the Dolby Atmos. With a HD+ screen, Galaxy A12 delivers vivid clarity and a full range of surround sound experiences. The 15W Adaptive Fast Charging capability allows users to get back to full power quickly like never before.

Featuring a 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, users can get their multimedia content in without worrying about low storage. However, if that ever occurs, Galaxy A12 comes along with expandable storage support up to 1TB external microSD card, allowing users to enjoy and have their favourite content anywhere at any time.

Worrying about cameras’ capabilities? Galaxy A12 comes with a quad-camera setup, a 48-megapixel main camera and 5-megapixel Ultra-Wide camera with a 123-degree viewing angle that mimics a human field of view, to fit more objects in a single frame. It comes along with a 2-megapixel Macro camera and 2-megapixel Depth camera for closeups, as well as an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

Where to get it?

Starting 9 January, the Galaxy A12 will be available at telecommunication providers, M1, Singtel Business and StarHub, Samsung Online Store, Samsung Experience Stores, major consumer electronics and IT stores, and Samsung Official Stores in Lazada and Shopee, at a recommended retail price of S$228.
