The Aztech PSD500 let’s you do just that! Instead of paying a monthly subscription for an online service like Dropbox, here’s an easy way to do so.[/cs_text][x_custom_headline level=”h2″ looks_like=”h4″ accent=”false”]How it Works[/x_custom_headline][cs_text class=”cs-ta-left”]The Aztech PSD500 dongle is a tiny device that is meant to connect to your home router via a LAN port. You can then plug an ordinary USB hard disk into that dongle and from there on, allow any device from any location to access and edit the files stored on it. It’s that simple![/cs_text][x_image type=”none” src=”https://www.aztech.com/images/Diagrams/psd500_webcontent_2.jpg” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=””][x_custom_headline level=”h2″ looks_like=”h4″ accent=”false”]Key Features & Specifications[/x_custom_headline][cs_text class=”cs-ta-left”]

[/cs_text][x_custom_headline level=”h2″ looks_like=”h4″ accent=”false”]Our Thoughts[/x_custom_headline][cs_text class=”cs-ta-left”]This dongle is mainly aimed at providing ease for users when setting up. It features a smartphone app that would guide users and configure all settings seamlessly. Therefore, if you would prefer to have more flexibility in your network storage setup, we would recommend a Network Attach Storage (NAS) solution such as those from Buffalo and Western Digital.

Another drawback with this dongle is that it only features a 10/100M WAN Port and a USB 2.0 Host Port. This would really limit the transfer speed of files even on a local network especially when laptops and PCs are now sporting Gigabit LAN Ports (1000M) and USB 3.0 ports.[/cs_text][x_custom_headline level=”h2″ looks_like=”h4″ accent=”false”]Availability[/x_custom_headline][cs_text class=”cs-ta-left”]The Aztech PSD500 dongle is readily available in Singapore stores at a MSRP of S$99. A gentle reminder that an additional USB hard disk or thumb drive is needed as well.[/cs_text][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][cs_section parallax=”false” style=”margin: 0px;padding: 45px 0px;”][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px;”][x_share title=”Share this Post” share_title=”” facebook=”true” twitter=”true” google_plus=”true” linkedin=”false” pinterest=”false” reddit=”false” email=”true” email_subject=”Hey, thought you might enjoy this!
