The POCO F4 with Qualcomm and the X4 GT with Mediatek chipsets

With purpose of addressing power efficiency and performance requirements, POCO have released the F4 smartphone with Qualcomm and X4 GT model with Mediatek. Both devices comes with flagship-level LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 ROM as standard, with the LiquidCool Technology 2.0 cooling system to keep temperatures in check – even with 67W turbo charging.

Both the F4 and the X4 GT also comes with a triple rear camera setup featuring a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, and 2MP macro camera – capable of 4k footage. The Dolby Atmos speakers adds a dynamic experience when viewing the crisp footage shot on the devices themselves. Providing a peace of mind, both devices comes with free screen repair service for the first 6 months after purchase.

With its prime core running at 3.2GHz, the Snapdragon® 870 flagship chipset offers shortened app loading times, supporting high graphic games and smooth scrolling experience whilst supporting the 5G. At a full charge of 4500mAh, the device provides up to 10 hours of gaming, 21 hours of video playback and 119 hours of music playback.

Despite being the thinnest POCO device, the device is covered with a 6.67″ AMOLED screen and a 2.76mm DotDisplay – one of the tiniest yet.120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate improves responsiveness on its 1,300 nits display. Features like Panoramic Selfie Mode, Night Mode, AI Skyscaping 4.0 and AI Erase 2.0 closely compliments the rear camera setup.

POCO X4 GT

Created with TSMC’s 5nm process, the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset maintains low power consumption and heat dissipation during high-frame-rate gaming. The first on a POCO device, the 20.5:9 LCD display ratio aims to improve grip of the device while reducing blue light by up to 30% for less eye strain.

In addition to the superior camera septum the pre-installed 19 stellar vlog templates allows users to film and edit quality content from the get go with its Drafts function. Users can review on the superior display with one billion colors and DCI-P3 wide color gamut support.

Availability and Pricing

The POCO F4 will come in three colors: Night Black, Moonlight Silver, Nebula Green. It will be available in two variants: 6GB+128GB or 8GB+256GB. The former costs S$479 (U.P. S$549) and the latter costs S$529 (U.P. S$599) via Shopee.

The POCO X4 GT will come in three colors: Silver, Black, Blue. It will also come with two variants: 8GB+128GB or 8GB+256GB. The 128GB ROM variant costs S$429 (U.P. S$479) and 256GB variant costs S$459 (U.P. 509) from 30 June via Shopee.
