Asus Vivowatch 6: world’s first smartwatch with fingertip-based blood pressure and ECG measurements

As the title implies, the Asus Vivowatch 6 prides with setting the new standard for health wearables with comprehensive health analysis – including Body Composition Analysis, Sleep Tracking, Relaxation Index, plus Body Harmony Analysis for daily stress management.

Featuring up to 14 days of battery life and dual-band GPS whilst weighing just 60 grams, the smartwatch is aimed to seamlessly integrate into the lifestyle of most prospective users.

Health beyond simply statistics

Equipped with two sets of medical-grade ECG and PPG sensors alongside a bioelectrical impedance (BIA) sensor, placing the thumb and index finger on the watch face sensor reveals body fat and skeletal muscle percentages, water content, and basal metabolic rate.

Through gathering the balance of the autonomic nervous system in combination with heart rate variability (HRV), the smartwatch derives the Relaxation Index to show short-term stress levels. Further discovery with the Body Harmony Analysis feature will derive the wearer’s daily emotional status over the past 7 days – succinctly presented in a seven-grid chart.

ASUS HealthConnect app

The app succinctly illustrates holistic statistics of their personal health – with a feature to share the real-time wearer’s location and health status through the Care Track cloud-based service – ideal for elderly requiring extra care.

Availability and Pricing

The Asus VivoWatch 6 is currently available, priced at S$499.
